Northside's Nursery

“Sharing God’s Love By Nurturing Your Child”

Nursery services are available to children ages 8 weeks to 4 years old. A nursery is provided for all Sunday morning worship services and Sunday School, in addition to Wednesday evening activities. A nursery is also provided for many other Church wide events throughout the year. Always check with the church office for availability.

Our nursery is staffed by caring, consistent workers who have been trained in the Safe Sanctuary policies of Northside Church and in CPR techniques. A pager system is used in case parents are needed. Parents should sign in their child, pick up a pager, and record the pager number and drop off time on the sheet provided. Please keep the pager in your hand or pocket at all times. When you return to pick up your child, sign your child out on the sheet and return your pager.

We do ask that you leave your child with a caregiver at the nursery door. Bring a sippy cup each week and be sure to label all your child’s belongings. Please do not allow your child to bring toys from home and, if possible, avoid “looking in” on your child as this tends to upset the children. Please feed your child before bringing them to the nursery. A snack will be provided at the appropriate time. For the well-being of all the children and the nursery staff, please refrain from bringing your child to the nursery if your child has had a fever or has been vomiting within the past 24 hours. You will be given a form when you pick up your child that states when your child was changed, fed, and if they have been hurt in any way. Please be prompt when picking up your child. Please inform a nursery staff member if your child has any food allergies. No peanut products are allowed in the nursery wing.

Be assured that your child will be loved and taken care of to the best of our ability. If you have any concerns or comments, please contact Ann Sage, Nursery/Childcare Director.( )
